EnPlay | Unlock learning through play
Enjoy Rome while learning how to unlock learning through play
Enjoy & Engagement Play! Spreading the culture of play and playfulness in every conceivable and (in)imaginable context is a challenge that will make a significant difference for future generations: it can help change teaching and organisational cultures.

Learning outcomes:
At the end of the course, participants will be able to:
- Recognise the references of the biology of play
- Understand the links between learning, emotions, play and neuroscience
- Explore the potential hidden in play dynamics in groups
- Develop a positive attitude to playfulness
- Assess the importance of stories and storytelling in learning processes
- Apply strategies and tools to enhance play in educational and training paths
- Collaborate in experiential activities aimed at a win-win approach
Methodology
The course intends to encourage the creation of stretch-zones through the use of games, also borrowed from clowntherapy practices and the experience of the Findhorn Foundation established in Scotland, and heuristic tools. The design of the Virtuous Circus of Learning within the training proposal will be realised through a recursive integration between theoretical cues and experiential game activities articulated in 3 “didactic steps”: motivational engagement, experience, reflection. Consistent with the constructivist learning paradigm, in each collaborative activity proposed and organised in play teams, participants will rotate, changing group members as far as possible. Moreover, the shared construction of cognitive and relational artefacts constitutes a metaphorical support to creative expression and critical confrontation.
