Emotional and sexual literacy at school

A training to introduce topics related to sexual and emotional health into the school context with children aged 5 to 10. In the framework of the eternal city of Rome.

Sexual education is an integral part of general education. The school is one of the primary contributors in this area: this short course helps introduce some of the main themes revolving around this topic with children. At the end of the course, participants will be able to know and use language and communication practices suitable for the age of children and the main themes related to sexual and emotional health.

– teach children the perception of themselves and the people around them, what are the limits and potentialities of interacting with others;

– introduce the concept of consent from an early age;
– learn through workshops, communication practices appropriate to the age of the children and to the main themes related to sexual-affectivity.

Methodology

The methodology is based on a theoretical-practical approach based on multi-level communication.
During the first part of the course the theoretical aspects of sexual-affectivity will be addressed with a brief focus on:
– What Sexual-affectivity means;
